I read your last book “Grandfather Léandre’s stories”. I thanked my aunt (a nun) for sending it to me. Here is what I have just written to her: “Hello dear aunt, what a joy to read the new book of Mr. Lachance from cover to cover! It’s interesting and I have learned many lessons. I would love to order dozens of copies to offer to children, parents, teachers, directors, etc. Rest assured that the little stories go a long way to make us discover our little inadequacies, our little defects, our sins.”
Here is what I wrote to my father, aged 74: “Aunt Y. sent me a new book from a grandfather, whose audience are children aged from 3 to 99! I just finished reading it and I can say that I’m part of the group. There is a very exciting small notebook within the lessons that are discreetly conveyed. I’ll show it to you soon. You’ll see for yourself by reading it. It’s not very long to read, but it is a real examination of conscience which bear fruit. I won’t tell you right away what struck me the most, I’ll let you read it first. I’m anxious for my children to discover this treasure.”
I can tell you that I’m very enthusiastic. I will meditate on the lessons learned, in order to present myself at the Sacrament of forgiveness and to enjoy Sunday Mass. I cannot wait to read these beautiful stories again and again with my four children. I think it will be an opportunity for me to delve deeper into each of the subjects…

It is good to read the “Thought of the Day” before starting my daily activity! This morning, the Lord is repositioning me, because – as my wife reminds me occasionally – I generally act without thinking first. Fortunately, God takes care of me and reminds me that He does not take up more space than I give Him.
1B_33: My little one, the ‘yes’ that you repeatedly give Me and your prayers of intercession, especially when they come through My Most Blessed Mother, Mary, are much more important than you think. If you had greater faith when you pray to Me, I could accomplish more. Ask Me to increase your faith!
Whenever I open one of the books of the trilogy “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”, I draw valuable lessons like the one written on page 60 of the first volume, number 32, in which I often immerse myself and apply later. I consider this important because the Lord says that He has an urgent need for prayers to save souls. United to His prayers, ours is that His Mother, the angels and all the saints may help in the great fight that is currently going on.
He needs our “Yes” to act as He pleases, in the invisible. A good idea comes to my mind, when I think about this teaching: I believe that Jesus would be happy to spread this message to our prayer group.
Dear friends, Chosen Ones,
As the “Thought of the Day” invites us, I come to share two thanksgivings, following the death of a cousin of my husband. We accompanied her two daughters to the funeral home, because this was a very difficult moment for them. We recited the rosary of Divine Mercy two days in a row, and on the second day a granddaughter prayed with us at the bedside of our cousin. On the day of the funeral, there was a great reconciliation between the brother and the eldest of the sisters who had not spoken to each other for years. We were overwhelmed, it seemed impossible! How great is the goodness of the Lord!
Another surprising development: my youngest brother had not seen his daughter for 15 years, due to serious complications related to his divorce. I prayed … and I had encouraged him to take a step towards his daughter, but it was too painful for him. Lately, he told me he has just gone to see his daughter! Everything went well! It had been so long that he did not recognize her. He told me she was beautiful, he who is usually so stingy with compliments. The Lord is great!
A big thank you for all that you do, in order for us to enjoy the graces linked to the “Thought of the Day”.
1D_30: My child, to act in faith means accepting to act without knowing the results. If I let you know the results in advance, you would no longer have to move ahead in pure faith, as I want you to do at this moment. I am filling you with My Love. Tenderly, I love you.
Thank you – from the bottom of my heart – for this “Thought of the Day” that I receive and that makes me feel good. Every time, it is infinite love; there is never any reproach.
I have been married for almost 49 years. I have experienced physical and mental suffering for years: my husband was violent and he destroyed me morally. He is no longer violent, he has changed a lot, except about religion. Since I have retired, all my occupations are at the parish level, but my husband is jealous of God, he can’t stand that I’m involved outside our home.
Every day, I pray for his conversion and for me to behave fairly towards him. One day, I was told that I should have left. But I do not feel that God is expecting it from me. God does not seek the destruction of families. We have two daughters, the last one has two sons. When our daughters were teenagers, my husband behaved very badly towards them, but in the last ten years he has become sensitive and I think he has become aware of the harm he has done to them. We often have our grandchildren at home, he is an admirable grandfather and the children are very attached to him. We host a family meal once a month, our daughters and sons-in-law get along well and it’s a real pleasure to be together around the table. I tell myself that staying was the right choice, my family would have been destroyed.
There are times when I trust God and tell myself that, someday, my husband will eventually convert. At other times, I get discouraged and I think that it will not change. Every day, I make my consecration to Mary and I also consecrate my husband, my daughters and my grandchildren. Mary does not abandon people She is entrusted with.

Thank you very much for your message that directly touched my heart. My husband read and reread the three volumes of the trilogy “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”. He kept telling me that these teachings have completely transformed his faith. His faith has been renewed.
1C_09: My poor little one, I love to come to your assistance, just as you have loved to help one of your little ones, taking him in your arms to hold him next to your heart and tell him: ‘Have no fear, grandpa/grandma loves you. I am here, and I am protecting you.’
The “Thought of the Day” is addressed directly to me. This is a great consolation in the moments of anxiety that I am currently experiencing. I need to trust Jesus more in all the events of my life.
Because Love loves me, I become Love.
