Testimonials of a retreat with the Chosen Ones of Jesus in Baillet – Summer 2011
In the middle of summer, in this plain, cradle of France, we came, like a small cosmopolitan flock, from East and West, filled with great hope. For three days, we listened, thirsting for truth, to an authentic messenger, Léandre Lachance, from Canada. In the comings and goings of the curious visitors who came to seek Peace at the foot of Our Lady, the words of Léandre vivified our souls. With the only commitment that counts, that of our whole lives, we have given thanks for this time of deep joy.
M-T. : I was touched by the simplicity, common sense and bright words of Léandre, our Canadian grandfather, who led us to live the Gospel with him. Jesus is near: He takes care of every detail and our little life interests him.
J.: During these three days, I felt good because I was welcomed …
M.: The site of Notre-Dame-de-France has been a place of great peace for me. I really appreciated the presence and words of the accompanying priest.
O .: When we arrived at Baillet on the site of Notre-Dame-de-France, on Wednesday evening around 8 p.m., our first impression was the deep peace that seized, invaded and brought an inner well-being in us. Yes, peace is palpable in this place. Thank you Lord for this place of grace, peace and deep joy!
D.: While attending the retreat given by Léandre, I had the impression to see and hear a prophet of modern times. I did an experiment: on the second day, Léandre asked us to isolate ourselves, to meditate on the questions of our life, then to ask for the help of Jesus and to open the book “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” at random. Léandre told us that Jesus would answer us through the message thus discovered and I had the answer to my questions. I was even very surprised by the response of Jesus who was, in a way, a description of my life […] I read volume 1 and I started volume 2.
C.: First of all, I was impressed by the beauty of the site, where everything involved prayer and meditation. These three days spent with Léandre gave me more strength, but also more hope to continue to walk. And it is in joy and lightness that I left literally carried. Another big thank you to Léandre for this rich teaching.
L.: This retreat was, as I was coming out of convalescence, a corner of blue sky and a spiritual adventure with Our Lady and Léandre. We need his humor, his good mood. His teachings are always relevant, well organized, full of common sense, coherent. There was also a lot of interaction with the participants, especially during meals. By the grace of God, we had a young African priest among us and he celebrated Mass. We also had the chance to get to know the persecuted Eastern Christians and to attend Mass in their beautiful Chaldean church, in Aramaic – the language of Jesus. I felt like I was away on a trip, full of friendship and spirituality.
J-C. : I was happy to spend these three days near Léandre, because I am amazed to see him talk like this, without notes and without boring his audience. His teaching is relevant and full of common sense. I liked the atmosphere and I met interesting people, including Eastern Christians. It made us feel good to have lunch together, which allowed exchanges.
