I am a nun and due to health issues, I live outside my community. I thank Heaven for being able to participate in a retreat given by Mr. Lachance who wrote the messages of the trilogy “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”. Since then, my inner life has changed! I mention it and repeat it to anyone who wants to hear me and I publicize the volumes. My heart has expanded and I present all the Chosen Ones of Jesus and their intentions to the Lord at the Offertory of the Mass every day. I feel more united to this spirituality.

A renewed inner life
Welcome, Bless, Understand
“Welcome, Bless, Understand”, it’s something that caused me a lot of problems! In theory, it sounds simple. In practice, it’s a different story: how to accommodate a problem or a misfortune? I really was unable to have a positive reaction to that. Yet, it is true that a problem must first be welcomed if one wants to give it to God. I asked the Virgin Mary to welcome the problem for me or to help me to welcome it, and when we ask this kind of thing to the Virgin Mary, we get all the necessary help, I can confirm it. A first step was taken!
Step Two: Bless. Blessing the Lord for a problem or a suffering, I must admit that it did not make sense to me. But, as the Lord asks us to have faith, I went for it. I was really anxious about a problem and, besides, I was very sick physically. Without thinking, I said: “Lord, I bless you for putting this problem on my way.” Then, not only did the solution come very easily, but, in addition, I realized that all this had prevented the appearance of another problem, in addition to strengthening my relationship. Then, I understood!
Welcome, Bless, Understand! It is almost a kind of physical certainty that God will take care of everything if I let Him, if I don’t tie His hands with my conditions, my doubts or my anxieties. It took a few experiences before it became spontaneous because I was a very anxious person. But in the space of a few months, things changed dramatically.
Another important thing is to give “carte blanche” to the Lord. He always solves problems much better than ourselves! If we do so, if we bless Him for the problem, and in addition, if we accept the inconvenience for His sake, He fills us infinitely […] even if He seems to take His time to answer us. One thing is certain, He will keep us in peace until the problem is fully solved. And this peace is priceless!
Once the problem is solved, we must not forget to thank the Lord and avoid taking credit. For my part, I am so conscious that everything comes to me from God (the solution and the inner peace), that it is impossible for me to take any credit.
The prayer “My “Yes” for today”: a gift
As a subscriber to the “Thought of the Day” email since a year and a half, I have seen my life change gradually. I give thanks to God! In order to respond to Love, I needed words to offer my personal Yes to God every day; and the prayer “My “Yes” for today” arrived in my inbox as a gift. Yes, it is a gift! I pray it every day with the Our Father, Hail Mary, and I read the readings of the day’s Mass. After years of difficult personal prayer, I finally feel great joy every morning when I wake up, because that’s when I pray.
I have already shared this prayer with five people who do not have Internet and I think that they also pray it every day. I think that the number of people subscribed to the “Yes” could easily be multiplied by five, because, in my opinion, I am not the only one to spread this prayer among my friends. And this is just the beginning […]. Thank you to the Spirit who inspired you this prayer and thank you for sharing it.
Our 24th retreat… and not the last!
Last weekend, we lived our 24th retreat with the spirituality of the Chosen Ones of Jesus.
We were a little more than twenty participants. A man came back for the sixth time, a lady for the fourth time, another for the third time and two others for the second time.
On the first night, one lady shared having been deeply touched by the Love of our Lord. Another, who is the mother of five young children, wrote to me when she returned home, giving a 15/10 mark to the retreat and adding: “This weekend was a great joy for me!”
This morning, I met an elderly couple who participated to the retreat. The lady told me that she was delighted and her husband – a man who asks a lot of questions – was swept off his feet. One of our parish’s assistants told me that many people who came to Mass yesterday and who had participated to the retreat told her that they would come back to experience it again. Two men added that they would like to discover this retreat of which they hear so much great things. It seems that I will have to organize another retreat in a few months!
Lives transformed by the Love of the Father
In November 2011, I was led or guided by Divine Providence, to attend a conference given by Mr. Léandre Lachance. At that time, my husband and I were in a difficult situation. My husband was unemployed and we depended on welfare to support ourselves. It did not improve our self-esteem or that of our children. After the conference, I had the opportunity to meet personally with Mr. Lachance who took the time to listen to me with love and compassion. I had lost hope of finding such a sympathetic ear and such availability on Earth.
He offered me books, CDs and DVDs of “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” simply asking me, in exchange, to recite daily the “Prayer of Jesus to His Father, Our Father”, which brings me comfort, love and serenity. I am thus touched by the grace and love of God. It was a revelation for me. I knew that I could choose to transform my life with the Father’s help: choose to remain in poverty or allow God to give me the opportunity to open my arms to welcome abundance into our lives. So, my husband and I started to open our arms. God overwhelms us with graces and we thank Him for the love He has for us.
My heart is transformed progressively, as I read the books and listen to the “Thought of the Day”. The latter makes the Love of the Father vibrate and I feel it within myself; it brings me peace. The faith that grows in every one of us is a precious and invaluable treasure of God.
Our hope has recovered and we can believe in better days. Little by little, we believed that we could improve by fully participating in the realization of our lives, by allowing God to be an integral part of it. Every member of our family has worked on himself and we live in greater harmony. My husband found a job, my children’s lives are getting better, my health is improving. Our lives have been transformed by the grace of God.

My inner breathe
Thank you for these testimonials! I’m amazed at the graces of love received from the Father and transmitted through the “Thoughts of the day”. There was a combination of circumstances that made me receive these messages. The phrase “Because Love loves me, I become Love” has become my inner breath, it unites me increasingly to Jesus. It’s fabulous! All my life is transfigured: a life of union with God which becomes a surprising and exciting inner journey, whatever the external events.
It may not correspond to every sensibility, but it seems to me that it is a simple and new language for the present times, accessible to the little ones that we want to be before God and before others. This path really is a shortcut to Love. It reminds me of the first letter of St. John (4:19): “We love because He first loved us.” Let us take the time to listen to God who speaks to us, and let the Spirit speak to our hearts!
Make something new
Dear Jesus, I cannot imagine that You could have such an interest in me when I think of the condition I was in 23 years ago […] I can see that You forget all our mistakes, once You have forgiven them! Today’s Thought confirms me that only you can do something new with the old. Thank you for these moments of intimacy that I live more and more with You.

Forgiveness and Trust
What a beautiful message! Yes! For a long time, focusing on my past paralyzed me and I must always be very vigilant not to revisit that path.
This “Thought of the Day” corresponds once again to the Gospel of the day. Jesus healed a paralyzed man. He said to him, “Take heart, my son, your sins are forgiven.” Jesus never looks back, reproaching us. The problem is always on my side: guilt, my inward-looking attitude, and especially my lack of faith. Through the books “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”, we are taught to say “Yes” faithfully and steadfastly. Praise be to God!
Today, for the first time, I took the time to consult the testimonies in the “Act of God” section. These testimonies bring peace and greater confidence in God’s love for each of His children. I encourage those who have not done so yet to consult it and use it according to their needs.
These books are a grace
About two months ago, I was walking and I did not feel well at all morally […]. I was very depressed. On the way, I met a friend and told her about my condition. She had in hand the first volume of the trilogy “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” and she opened it to read me two lines. It touched me so much that I immediately took the steps to get the three volumes. I am convinced that it is a grace, because a little later, a friend invited me to a retreat of the same name.
Today, I was sad because I sent an invitation to my daughter for a youth retreat and her response was: “It’s not my type of thing.” At the moment, it was very hurtful for me, but fortunately I found your prayer that says that one has to accept others as they are without wanting to change them. It comforted me.

A beautiful and pious advice
“You understand that if you want to be My instrument, you will have to respect the same freedom in those that I will place on your way. “
This sentence touches me this morning, because I understand more and more that we are really instruments in the hands of the Lord. For some, this may seem like a form of slavery, but for me it’s not at all the same thing. I like to think that this God whose unconditional love I discovered works for my well-being and waits for the right moment to place the person who will enlighten me on my path.
This morning, I borrowed my son’s car and I realized the poor condition of his tires and the danger he placed himself in while driving. When I returned, I “scolded” him and gave him the money to change his four tires.
Tonight, before going back home, a person who has been working at my home for many years and who had heard everything said: “Madam, do not forget to thank the Lord for allowing you to take your son’s car this morning, to be aware of the danger he was in and to have been able to do what was necessary to avoid the worst.” I was stunned because I had not thought about it […]. Reading the “Thought of the Day”, I doubly thanked this person. I realized that it was God who had put her on my way to give me this beautiful and pious advice.
I have joy in my heart for this teaching!
