God's Action

I’m one of those people who wait assiduously every morning for the “Thought of the Day”. Three years ago, I participated in a retreat with Léandre at the City of the Immaculate (Cité de l’Immaculée). I really took the messages seriously, but I still have an overwhelming, irresistible desire to read them and let myself be invaded by Love!
When I took part in the retreat, I was on the verge of depression and I was experiencing a great melancholy. My marriage was in great trouble, our children had turned against us, I could not see two of my grandchildren and, for me, my whole life seemed to be a complete failure. Our three daughters had left the house in a very painful way, my husband and I were constantly fighting. Yet, I had a life of prayer and a desire to do God’s Will.
Upon our return from the retreat, my husband and I read every day the “Thought of the Day”, and little by little, drop by drop, the situation has completely changed! But, above all, our hearts have changed, our couple has become more peaceful: tenderness drove away all misunderstandings, judgments, anxieties, quarrels, etc.
In the invisible, the Lord came to visit every member of our family. At Christmas, we were all together and we were happy.

I heard about the book “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” during a pilgrimage to Belgium. I immediately wanted to get a copy and read it. I now have the three volumes and they are a great comfort to me. In recent years, I lived a great ordeal. I had lost contact with one of my daughters. She had abandoned all her family, moved to Africa, came back, but she found herself in a difficult situation. After reading the first volume, I gave my irrevocable “Yes” for everything and for my loved ones. Since then, I have made contact with my daughter. She is still struggling, but her situation is improving. I trust Jesus for her future. Through this “Yes” I gave to Jesus, I see His action in the heart and the behavior of my children. My prayer is a continuous thanksgiving, it is a pleasure to feel loved by our Lord Jesus.

My heart is overflowing with joy for the beautiful prayer shared in Volume 1 of the trilogy “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” on pages 202 and 203, in order to be constantly connected to Love, thanks to our breathing. I said it with the desire that it be accepted, and I want to say it and repeat it to Love… to become Love.

I am so happy to be a Chosen One of Jesus and to receive a message every morning! My heart overflows with gratitude to Jesus and also to Léandre Lachance who makes us discover the greatness of the love of God, by agreeing to write what Jesus inspires him.
My life has changed since I receive these messages and that I read every day a passage from the books “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus.” If the world knew what source of love these messages contain and how easy it is to hand over everything to God – since He gave us all we have – the face of the Earth would be transformed.
I am full of gratitude to God for so much love and kindness, I who am a sinner that did not deserve so much attention.

Testimonials of a retreat with the Chosen Ones of Jesus in Baillet – Summer 2011

In the middle of summer, in this plain, cradle of France, we came, like a small cosmopolitan flock, from East and West, filled with great hope. For three days, we listened, thirsting for truth, to an authentic messenger, Léandre Lachance, from Canada. In the comings and goings of the curious visitors who came to seek Peace at the foot of Our Lady, the words of Léandre vivified our souls. With the only commitment that counts, that of our whole lives, we have given thanks for this time of deep joy.
M-T. : I was touched by the simplicity, common sense and bright words of Léandre, our Canadian grandfather, who led us to live the Gospel with him. Jesus is near: He takes care of every detail and our little life interests him.
J.: During these three days, I felt good because I was welcomed …
M.: The site of Notre-Dame-de-France has been a place of great peace for me. I really appreciated the presence and words of the accompanying priest.
O .: When we arrived at Baillet on the site of Notre-Dame-de-France, on Wednesday evening around 8 p.m., our first impression was the deep peace that seized, invaded and brought an inner well-being in us. Yes, peace is palpable in this place. Thank you Lord for this place of grace, peace and deep joy!
D.: While attending the retreat given by Léandre, I had the impression to see and hear a prophet of modern times. I did an experiment: on the second day, Léandre asked us to isolate ourselves, to meditate on the questions of our life, then to ask for the help of Jesus and to open the book “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” at random. Léandre told us that Jesus would answer us through the message thus discovered and I had the answer to my questions. I was even very surprised by the response of Jesus who was, in a way, a description of my life […] I read volume 1 and I started volume 2.
C.: First of all, I was impressed by the beauty of the site, where everything involved prayer and meditation. These three days spent with Léandre gave me more strength, but also more hope to continue to walk. And it is in joy and lightness that I left literally carried. Another big thank you to Léandre for this rich teaching.
L.: This retreat was, as I was coming out of convalescence, a corner of blue sky and a spiritual adventure with Our Lady and Léandre. We need his humor, his good mood. His teachings are always relevant, well organized, full of common sense, coherent. There was also a lot of interaction with the participants, especially during meals. By the grace of God, we had a young African priest among us and he celebrated Mass. We also had the chance to get to know the persecuted Eastern Christians and to attend Mass in their beautiful Chaldean church, in Aramaic – the language of Jesus. I felt like I was away on a trip, full of friendship and spirituality.
J-C. : I was happy to spend these three days near Léandre, because I am amazed to see him talk like this, without notes and without boring his audience. His teaching is relevant and full of common sense. I liked the atmosphere and I met interesting people, including Eastern Christians. It made us feel good to have lunch together, which allowed exchanges.

God is good and benevolent! He saw my distress and put a person in my life that led me to the “Thoughts of the Day”. Since then, I impatiently wait for them and I read them with eagerness … for it is necessary to be eager for everything that comes from our Lord! It is so good to feel loved and looked upon with such sweetness and tenderness. I feel my transformation and the Lord works in me and through me. I give Him my unconditional and total “Yes” every day. I share these thoughts with about twenty people, adding a comment inspired by the Holy Spirit, because I cannot keep them for myself. It is a joy to write under His influence. Thank you for this discovery: may the Lord never cease to call upon us and love us. Thank you for these magnificent Thoughts. Thank you, Jesus, for restoring hope and peace.

I have recently become a Chosen One of Jesus. I wanted to share with you that the penetration of my thought by Jesus, even into the most minimal things of my life, is a fascinating discovery. Yesterday, for example, I confided to Jesus my despair at a situation in which my “enemies” were crushing me. Only three hours later, I received three answers announcing the victory of Jesus. Yesterday’s “Thought of the Day” suited me perfectly.
I’m already part of the work of Mary, the Focolari Movement; but Léandre introduced me to an even deeper intimacy with Jesus. Our founder always taught us to recognize that we are nothing before God… Léandre gave me an immediate key to abandon everything to him and even entrust to Him hideous thoughts, fears and doubts. I believe that it is a new relationship with Jesus that begins.

I had the joy of attending a three-day retreat with you. Through this retreat, which has been for me a time of reflection, I received answers, including one about the reality of Jesus. Some readings on Jesus’ life have confused me to the point I felt uncomfortable to pray … But now, thanks to this retreat, I found Jesus and won’t let him go.

Let’s give thanks together for all the wonders that resulted from this moment when, on the morning of November 7, 20 years ago, Léandre dared to sit in front of a blank page and say “Yes” to the Lord to be used as His servant and by letting Him become his teacher.
Thank you, Léandre, for each of the “Yes” that you have given Him since. In the name of all the chosen ones, I give thanks to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit for all the hearts touched, awakened, transformed and perpetually modeled under the tender gaze of Mother Mary. Thank you Lord for all the “Yes” of Your chosen ones.

Being a witness becomes important! Here’s what I just experienced:
Following the death of my father, a few years ago, my family ignored me when the moment came to distribute my father’s inheritance. For me, the hardest was to realize that I no longer existed for them, that I no longer had a family…
At Mass, a month and a half ago, one of my sisters came to give me the Peace of the Lord. It was a moment full of sweetness and love, something I would never have imagined. Then I phoned her and asked her to pray for my daughter. This is what Jesus built in my heart: I understood that I needed to be very humble in this situation and ask my sister for help.
Thank you for the books “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”, which allow me to confirm my choices and progress.
