God's Action

I have just finished the third volume of the “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” trilogy. I discovered that it is easy to say “Yes” to Jesus, since He calls us according to the aptitudes He has entrusted us with. Since then, the services that are asked of me seem light and motivate me to become even more available. I am amazed by this discovery. I do not know what Jesus expects of me, so I devote more time to listening, prayer, worship, silence and the Eucharist.

My husband, my children and I were involved in our parish. My husband was an organist and we served Mass. A few years ago, as a result of a cabal, fuelled by calumnies, lies and wickedness, we and our choir were forbidden to sing. Our suffering was terrible, for it was a place of conversion not only for the choristers and parishioners, but also for the faithful who came from afar. I thought I was cured of this wound, but the encounter of a person who had harmed us made everything resurface. One night, I asked God to help me get out of this sadness and the next day I had to teach catechism in a spirit of joy. I opened Volume 3 of “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” and I read a message Jesus gave in a similar case. In the morning, my tears had dried, Jesus consoled me as He had done for others.

I just discovered a real gift! A friend proposed to send me a copy of the first volume of Léandre Lachance, whose title says everything: “For the happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus!” It’s absolutely fantastic!
Everyone can draw from it the love of the Lord and receive by these words the strength to be guided, the tenderness to be consoled, the courage to be supported, the assurance to be comforted, etc. It is Love that speaks to our soul and our heart!

I commend myself to your prayers, because my candidacy has been accepted and I will be the chaplain of a small hospital soon. It is the Lord who does and will do, for I am but a hammer in His Hands. He trains me to become ever smaller and malleable to do what He wants of me and through me. I’m only at the beginning, as long as He permits me to stay in my place!

What a nice message from our Lord! A message that each and every one of us should welcome in a unique and personal way! May the Lord be blessed for so much love and mercy! He is with each and every one of us at every moment of our day, He is alive! Let’s not doubt […] this Jesus is the same as He was two thousand years ago!
Prayer is powerful; let us continue to pray without despair, even in suffering and discouragement. Prayer becomes even stronger and more powerful when done in this condition. Jesus said to a great saint: “Nothing is lost when everything is offered.” Even our miseries can turn into graces for us and for the world.

Volume 1 of “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” was offered to my husband and I in January 2000. We were completely ignorant about this spirituality of the “Yes” of love. It was quite a shock! What a wonderful discovery thereafter! Every morning, we were docile in a prayer inspired from the writings chosen at random in the book. The Lord gave us some signs at the beginning, confirming that he heard our requests and our needs. What a time of grace it was!
Then we got volumes 2 and 3, to deepen our intimacy with God and to enhance our unity with Him. The graces of transformation manifest themselves daily.
Three years ago, we formed a C.L.S. in Quebec. We are seven people and would like to expand the group. Everything is grace! What a wonderful Lord we have alongside us!

Through the prayer group of which I am part, I became acquainted with the books “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”. I started to read them and I wanted to give my “Yes” to Jesus.
During a pilgrimage, I went the whole nine yard: Mass, rosary, vespers, adoration and confession. What is odd is that the priest, who was not aware of your writings, used similar words of yours when he talked to me: “My little one, give your yes to God, do not try to change the other, but start to purify your soul. It is by your attitude and not by your words that your wife will convert.” I cried of joy!

I really enjoyed this day of retreat with you. All the teachings were of interest to me. Participating to the Mass and spending time worshiping really was a good idea and a good way to internalize the teachings.
Few months ago, I received the first message of the day, thanks to my son, who wanted to encourage me in the trial that I was living. Then I discovered the Foundation and the books “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”. I immediately bought these three books and your DVDs. These readings and videos touch me, it is extraordinary!
I have always known Jesus, this is the legacy of my parents and I have always done my best to follow Him and practice the sacraments. However, I am touched in a new way by the love Jesus has for me. I experience a conversion, a new way of approaching Jesus to live more and more. I no longer put Jesus in my life, but I put my life in Jesus! This is the famous “Yes”. To get there, I go to the Blessed Sacrament once a week, because it has become a necessity and I experience every time a great encounter of intimacy with Jesus.
My priorities change. I also forward the message of the day to thirteen people every morning. I have given the books “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” to a dozen people. No, I’m not crazy! I only believe that the most important thing in my life is the love that God has for me and for the world. Even in times of trial, I live moments of jubilation with my God, who is full of love for me. I’m putting my hope in Love against all odds.
The time of prayer where we said “Yes” during the retreat was for me the strongest moment. I had a lot of emotions and I had to control myself not to burst into tears. But what an unforgettable moment, a moment full of truth with Jesus in my heart! He was really present for me and with me.
Because Love loves us, we become Love.
