Testimony of a priest:
I’m a Redemptorist priest from Quebec, a missionary in Japan and responsible of a senior home for fifty elderly people who are still quite healthy. I read Volume 2 of “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”. I’m convinced that the content and the path Jesus points out to us through these messages is exactly what is needed for me and for our Japanese Christians. This is what we need here in terms of spirituality and I was inspired to see to it that these messages are within their reach and even more so for the members of our clergy. That’s why I thought of doing a Japanese translation. This process involves some investment, the necessity to go through paperwork and other actions. I gathered some information and spoke to my superiors. I therefore pray to the Lord, that He may make His will known, regarding this project.

What a joy to have met a friend who put the book “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” in my hands! What a joy to read these passages of love, so many messages that touch my heart! What a joy to have found the way to God the Father through Jesus his Son! What a pleasure to be able to say “Yes”, thanks to this book!
I can’t wait to read the rest and to continue my journey of faith and love. I’m anxious to continue to open my heart by the lines I’m about to read.

I am nothing without my God! I had been planning a trip for a while. But I was so confident in myself that I was not looking for the face of God. One day, in a dream, God said to me, “You can’t do anything without me.” So I knelt down and first asked Him for forgiveness, then I threw myself in His arms. Today, the trip is being well prepared and I am happy! We can’t do anything without our great God!
I ask you to pray for those who are sick and can’t afford treatment. Nothing is impossible to God, He is the Almighty. Thank you, may the Lord bless you! Amen.

I was deeply moved by the answer and the advice I received, at a time when my heart was in deep anguish!
I read over these advices for two days, with no hope of apparent change. I held on because your answer was so convincing, though it was humanly impossible to change the situation I was living. Finally, the feedback from my medical check-ups made me jump of joy! Everything is back to normal. I welcomed this miracle in my heart and I danced of joy at the meeting of my prayer group where I shared this testimonial.
During a time of praise, I received the inner image of Jacob’s struggle, and the Lord made me understand that He can lead me, that He wants all the place in me. Two days later, I went back to work after a six month leave and I realized I was no longer the same person. I felt a great inner freedom, a deep listening, my fears of not getting there had disappeared. I’m in a state of Thanksgiving to the Lord and the Virgin Mary for their tremendous intervention just before Christmas!
Because Love loves me, I become Love.

Thank you for sending the “Thought of the Day” every day. Yesterday’s thought touched me in a particular way. We are in great pain because my brother is suffering from a cancer that is spreading. He has just had an operation in which he almost died, his daughter is expecting her first baby, she lives far away and cannot visit him.
The words of this Thought have been like a balm, I believe that I will learn them by heart, because I feel that it is the support that I need to accompany my brother in his last days and to calm my anxieties and my queries.

I publicized the volumes of the trilogy “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” and, now, with some people, I form a C.L.S. (Community of Love and Sharing). One member, who is alcoholic and depressive, has clung to these messages and finds strength and comfort in them. Her health improved greatly in the space of a month.

Thanks to the messages contained in the books “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”, we can follow Jesus to become Love. I’m part of a secular missionary association. I worked for nineteen years in Congo and I’m now retired. Today and through prayer, I’m a Missionary without borders. As I read the book, I soon realized that Jesus was guiding me. He made me aware of my littleness and my failures to love. Then, one day, I received the “Thought of the Day” on my computer. Since then, I experience a great transformation. It is Jesus who is active … alone, I’m nothing! He lives in me. He is my guide, my intimate friend.
I sometimes share the “Thought of the Day” with other people. This is how a student in Congo suffering from a liver and pancreatic cancer received it. She became aware of the message and was very touched by it. So, she continued reading on her computer or listening to the Daily Thought every day. Terrible pains and sufferings accompanied the progress of the disease. She said she offered everything to Jesus. She had lost contact with several members of her family and she asked for forgiveness. The priest who accompanied her said at her funeral that she had obtained a miracle of reconciliation from all her family. By accepting her suffering, she gave Love.

Whether we are open-minded or not towards the contemporary messages of the Good News, it seems difficult not to be touched by these Christic invitations entrusted by Jesus to His Messenger in the trilogy “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus “.
While reading the messages of Jesus, I decided to commit to one or two hours of personal worship prayer per day. Day after day, the Lord makes me understand that I do not have to seek to answer all the questions that I ask myself or that I am asked. I realize that I need Jesus more than the people who come to me need me. I so much need to be taught directly by Jesus. “Continue to let yourself be loved without any merit on your part, to let yourself be transformed, to be guided, for thus Love loves you and you become Love.”
I realize how much the decision to spend time before the Blessed Sacrament is a matter of necessity. The more time I devote to a prayerful heart, the more Jesus gives me His grace and teaches me how to pray. Of course, it is not always easy to remain silent before the Lord. We can even feel that time goes by slowly. It often happens that one is distracted by important matters. We might even feel nothing … But I often find proof of my prayer later, at work or during my apostolate. For my part, I’m very privileged to live with Jesus under the same roof. At any time, I can think of meeting Him. The Lord makes me understand this reality with insistence through the messages: “Just stay with Me, come in My Presence. It’s not what you do for Me that counts, it’s what I want to do for you.” And I would still have so much to share. Friends and readers, try it for yourself and you will see: it works!

I’m a 85 years old great-grandmother. I had a very close encounter with the Lord in the pages of the trilogy “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”. I pray every day with the books. Jesus makes me experience great joys, He transforms me and He opened my eyes. I shared the books and small cards with a dozen people. Jesus worked well with this: some friends bought the volume. We meet, we pray and we share what we experience from our readings. We pray for our entourage and we see the changes that are happening. Jesus makes His close presence felt, I’m filled with His Love.

Thank you very much for your conference via Internet! We have all been touched in our hearts, thanks be to God! Since the moment when I played a part with the conferences organized by O., when I had the grace to accompany you to drive and help you with the sale of the books, my heart has become part of the love of God.
Today, I experience great moments of joy, and I walk towards Mercy to enter this civilization of Love. The “Thought of the Day” is a balm for my heart. The audio disc, for its part, soothes tensions when playing in the background.
