God's Action

Today, when my worries overwhelmed me, I read the “Thought of the Day”. The good Lord told me: “Trust me.” I was glad! God does not abandon anyone and He does not let our trials go beyond us. I know that from that moment on, He has already taken care of my worries. Nothing is impossible to God. May glory return to Him!

The first volume of your trilogy “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”, which was lent to me by a friend, does me good! I’m very sick and for the moment I cannot work. I’m worried and I learn, thanks to this book, to “surrender” in the Lord.

I really like the books of the trilogy “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”. My husband and I have experienced special graces while reading the first volume, and we enjoy picking and choosing excerpts from these books which have proven to be answers for us in our daily lives. They also allowed one of my daughters to come closer to the Lord.

The messages that Jesus transmits to us in “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” open my heart even more to live and deepen a personal, intimate and sincere relationship with God, on a daily basis. In all the situations of my life, the Lord gives me faith and proves to me that He is always there to love me, guide me and save me […]. When I feel impatient, critical or angry, I entrust this to Jesus and these feelings disappear to make way for peace. I am amazed every time.
When I try to make our children understand that what they want can sometimes move them away from God and that I fail in this quest, I remain silent and I call Jesus to my rescue by entrusting him with my helplessness and my sadness. Shortly after, the children come back and say they understand.
When I am offended, I offer this suffering to Jesus. I speak to Him about what I feel: sadness, anger, resentment, discouragement […]. In prayer, I ask him to help me to forgive. Miracle! My resentment disappears and I feel loved, understood and carried by God. Forgiveness springs up in my heart and reconciliation ensues.
When I feel anxious, all I need to do is to think again about Jesus who says that I have nothing to fear, that He has all the situations in hand, that He takes care of the smallest details of my life and I find peace. I think that union with God is the only thing that makes us deeply happy. He demonstrates it to us by His action in our lives.

I am pleased to share with you the comments of my 8-year-old daughter about the book “Grandfather Léandre’s stories”:
“These stories are fun!”; “I love them!”; “Is there another book?”
We read all the stories and we start again, always eager to know the outcome. Sure enough, why not a new book?
I also notice that ever since I started repeating the phrases “Because Love loves me, I become Love; because Love loves you, you become Love”, there are fewer tensions in the family and my perception of thing changes.

First, I praise the Lord for His love! This love that He allowed me to know better through you.
Two months ago, I was in great pain after a friendship of eight years was broken. I didn’t understand how things had gotten to that point. I then lost my appetite, I sank into guilt … I even thought of dying, because it was so painful to realize that the one I considered my sister no longer wanted to see me, nor forgive my mistakes! I could no longer pray. I spent my days crying in my room. The only little strength I had was to live Sunday Mass every week!
Then, a few weeks later, I was doing research on the Internet for my work, and I came across a website that led me to click on the “Thought of the Day”. From that day on, my life changed! I have downloaded the three volumes of the trilogy “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”. I was so hungry for these divine readings.
Today, my friend and I are still not reconciled, but I have raised myself up again. I remain fragile, but I smile more than I cry. And this strength which has raised me, I have drawn it from these readings. I learned what it is to really “love”, I have learned to know Jesus, my God! And I understood from these readings that I did not know how to love my best friend and so many other people that I carried in my heart.
Today, I learn to love. I particularly learn to welcome the Love. I give my “Yes”. Mother Mary helped me a lot too. I however confess that I sometimes wonder if I’m on the right path. I desire to be, but I often fall because of my old habits! I would like to know what Jesus expects of me, I would like to know my vocation.
I thank the Lord for allowing me to write to you! I give thanks to the Lord for all the love I have received through the volumes “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”! May the Lord be glorified through His works of love!

I am so touched by the fact that Jesus asks me to be a little pearl and that He sees beauty in me, despite all my sins!
How many praises come to my lips this Christmas! Thank you for the wonderful books of the trilogy “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”, which help me to evolve. Thanks to the communion that we experience every day through the “Thought of the Day” that challenges us in our lives, I really feel that I have brothers and sisters in the invisible and that I am part of a people on a journey.

What a journey it has been for me since I read the books “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”! Today, I accept to carry the cross, whereas I refused it before. The “Thought of the Day” has become necessary and helps me to say “Yes” every morning. Thank you also for the words explained at every “Weekly Rendezvous”.
