God's Action

What stands out for me from reading “For the Happiness of My Own – 42 ingredients to reach the very top” is that faith can move mountains. The chapter “Discovering the power of prayer” moved me to tears. We can relate to it, as parents. And the chapter on “The importance of changing oneself” led me to reflect on my behavior towards others. Thank you! It was somewhat and examination of conscience for me.

I’m pleased to share this testimony with you:

L. and I, childhood sweethearts, found each other again 39 years later and we got engaged. We shared the same faith. God was present in our daily lives. In the garden, there was a cave with a statue of the Virgin where we would pray regularly.
For two years, L. struggled against three successive cancers with admirable courage, faith and dignity. She passed away.
God gives me the grace to overcome this terrible ordeal that I accept. My two-year struggle alongside L. took a great toll on my health and I had a nervous breakdown. My family in Mauritius helped me to heal and recover from it. There, someone told me about a retreat from Léandre Lachance and I was offered to follow it.
Weakened, I did not even know if I could attend it until the end. My fears were quickly dispelled at the first words of the host: “Leave your reason and your intellect in the cloakroom. Listen to your heart during these three days. If you are here today, it is because you have been chosen and called.” It was a revelation to discover these simple, direct and clear messages, transmitted not by an ordained person as it happens usually, but by a layman, a man from the corporate world who experienced trials and joys … in short, someone who’s a bit like me!
I was deeply touched in my heart. This retreat was followed by a thorough reading of the three volumes of the trilogy “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus”. I began to understand the Love of the Father, to receive Him totally, unconditionally, irrevocably, recognizing on the other hand our smallness, our weakness and our powerlessness. I understood the need for purification through the sacrament of reconciliation and the union of our sufferings with those of Jesus.
From there, things have changed in me. I became the beneficiary of exceptional graces and blessings which permitted me to welcome this great trial, but also to move towards my reconstruction and the strengthening of my faith. Reading these books has transformed my life. In a new language, we discover the Love God has for us and what He expects of us.

Thank you, my dear Jesus, for making us Your loved ones. You know me: If You had not filled my heart with Your Love when I spoke to You in my distress, I would never have been able to benefit from such a love of life as it is now. You didn’t just cleanse me […] Since the clean-up was completed, you keep on flooding the depth of my soul with your Trinitarian love. I have no merit, if not to say thank you, thank you, thank you again and again! As an act of thanksgiving, I try to be attentive to anyone who seems to experience some distress to offer it to You, so that they too can benefit from the same gratuitousness of Your love that I feel fulfilled by.

I want to thank you for your comforting and so genuine messages, especially the “Thought of the Day”. I have been following your Facebook page for almost two years and I appreciate your way of reminding the world about our God’s love for us. Your daily thoughts are like food for my soul, they keep me alive. Thank you for being the instrument of God that reminds me to always seek Him.

Feedback on a retreat organized along the line of the spirituality of the Chosen Ones of Jesus.
I realize with amazement how different each retreat is, both in relation with the people who are present and at the level of the exchanges and behaviors throughout the day. On a total of 18 registered people, 15 attended. It was a very nice retreat. The Lord is simply great!
The first night, an elderly couple was present. The man, ill and suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, could not come back, but his wife shared that it has been three years since they both wanted to attend this retreat. Every time, they had been prevented from doing so. This time, although she had always cared for her husband and never left him alone, he told her to participate in the retreat despite his absence. This gave her tremendous relief, she said; she needed this new inner freedom.
A 20-year-old woman, whose faith was limited to believing that God exists, remained silent during the retreat. On Sunday, during a period of sharing, she spoke to tell us how much it felt good to perceive and feel herself as being so small. She thought she was “special” and finally realized that we are all that way in the eyes of God!
A lady spent most of the time between lectures before the Blessed Sacrament. She later explained to me what she experienced during the retreat: when she thought that everything had always gone well during her childhood, Jesus allowed her to see all the burden she carried in herself. Another lady, who has had significant problems with her shoulder and right arm for three years, didn’t feel any pain during the retreat.
These are the wonders that Jesus continues to operate. And for my part, even if this retreat was the 22nd, I still live it as if it was the first!

I’ve been married for thirty-two years and some time ago my husband told me he wanted to divorce and that he had met someone. I didn’t expect this and it was terrible. Reading the books of the trilogy “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” was of great assistance to me, I saw that God loves me.
Since then, my husband said he was putting the divorce option on hold. I live in expectation and in uncertainty. I keep hope that God can restore our union, for He alone can do it, I have no power over the situation and I accept His will, no matter what the outcome. I even offer Him the weakness of my “Yes”, and I ask Him to carry them for me.

This spirituality is truly alive, as long as it is nourished and as long as we offer time in His holy Presence. These volumes of the trilogy “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” may be books like any other, but what sets them apart is to believe that God can do in each of us what He has done in the heart of Léandre Lachance, that is if we give Him our consent.
Happy are we to repeat our “Yes” in everyday life: Yes to our smallness, Yes to His love and Yes to His graces!

The day before yesterday, I was sad. I was beginning to mourn and sought God everywhere, wondering where He could be and listening to the inner voice telling me that I was not interesting to anyone and that I was doomed to loneliness, to a failed life. Then I entered a church I didn’t know in Paris. I went to visit it, but in fact I was called: “Even if the road seems empty, long and tedious, it leads you to enter into yourself. Don’t close that door. One day or another, you will find God in yourself, you will discover His Truth. He will give you His Life. For He is the Way, the Truth, the Life.” I was grasped by a presence of Love, of strength and above all of peace. I don’t know how to pray, but I asked: “Master, where do you live?” I didn’t get an immediate answer. I looked at the statues in the church at length and I went out, but my heart was filled with great consolation.
Today, I discover the luminous words of the website of the Chosen Ones that I didn’t know! These words echo those I received in my heart: “You are so small, but you’re precious to me and I love you, I love you with eternal Love”.
I know my vocation: I’m small, very small; I am loved by an eternal Love which will last. I have value in the eyes of the Lord and His eyes are fixed upon me. I’m not alone, I’m known and loved. There was this visit of a church in Paris and then I was taken to the Chosen Ones … I’m now invited to unit through prayer with all the little Chosen Ones.

I would like to thank you very much for the videos you put at our disposal. I was bedridden for the last few days and I watched three of them. I feel that Jesus is closer to me. It brings me great joy! I very much appreciate the simplicity of your explanations and your pedagogy, the pedagogy of the Holy Spirit, whom you let take center stage.
For example, you say that on Sunday we feel Christian, on Monday we are much less so and so on, and it gets worse. How true and annoying! But you offer us a prayer of the heart that is so true and which keeps us far from the discouragement related to our mediocrity. You explain the process of purification that we will have to pass… It sounds so simple to understand and it suits me better than all sorts of other things that can be read and that are frightening or distressing. I thank you for your prayers, beautiful and simple. They’re so needed! I thank Jesus infinitely for all His sensitivity, His tenderness and of course for His mercy.
I agree with you, when you write: “We believe the Lord wants to reach an increasing number of people, using the modern tools at our disposal, including video retransmission.” I have just benefited from it.

I want to thank you for the rich teachings from the Lord that you have shared with us. You talked about “Information, Formation, Transformation”. In my littleness, since the retreat, I see in my life the transformations which the Lord operates.
At the beginning of the retreat, you said we should have no expectations, but to be welcoming. That’s what I did. Every day of the retreat, I walked with the Lord, step by step, I said “Yes” and I received all His love.
A first transformation manifested itself in my life: On the way back, in the car with friends, the driver took a wrong turn which resulted in a great detour. Faced with this situation, I was filled with calm and a feeling of surrender, whereas, in normal times, I would have roused, criticized, and so on. Thank you Lord for this budding transformation. Every day, assiduous to prayer, I say “Yes” to the Lord.
What also helps me is to tell Him that I renounce my thoughts and, when I do so, peace comes into my heart at once. Every morning, I read the “Thought of the Day” on the Internet. I then meditate it entirely in the related volume. In the evening, before going to bed, I ask the Lord to give me another Thought for the night.
Every day, I receive a gift package from the Lord, and I open it. Again, thank you for your “Yes” which allows me to say “Yes” on my part. I’m happy to be loved by Love, so that I may become Love.
