CHRISTMAS LETTER 2013 BY LÉANDRE LACHANCE
As Christmas day draws nearer, my wish is that many of us agree to diminish ourselves in order for Jesus to grow. It is surely a very beautiful gift to offer and a great gift for the people around us.
Realizing what is happening in the work of the Chosen Ones of Jesus, it is the word of Saint John the Baptist that come to mind:
“He must increase; I must decrease. » (John 3, 30)
As a result of the vertigo problems I experienced in August 2012 on my thirtieth mission trip to Europe, I had to drastically reduce my activities. In spite of this, by looking at what is happening, we have the proof that it is the Action of the Lord who is at work and not mine:
- The number of Thought of the Day subscribers increased from 6,200 to 7,000.
- After barely 4 months on Facebook, we have just exceeded the milestone of 110,000 likes and it is still progressing! The majority of our likes are under 35 years old; which fills us with hope for the future.
- Visits to our website increased from 45,000 to nearly 100,000 per month.
- We went from 3,500 to over 4,200 calls per month on our Thought of the Day phone lines;
- The diffusion of the volumes: The first volume “For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus” was published 14 years ago and is still very popular, which confirms the statement of the Cardinal of Latvia that says: “These books will be translated into several other languages and will be in demand for generations to come “…
- The experience of retreats in Mauritius and the growing desire of many people to have homes where people can experience true healing by meditating the messages of Love that are contained in the volumes or on CDs and DVDs (see Appendix).
- The distribution of testimonies continues to increase.
- The video clips of the “weekly rendezvous” are more and more viewed.
- The incalculable number of people who pray for the transformation of hearts according to the plan of God, our Father.
Blessed are we
to be on this path that leads us
to the fullness of Love,
to witness His action and to be associated
to this beautiful and great mission!
REFLECTION
What are the needs of this growing number of people who are discovering the work of the Chosen Ones of JESUS?
- Take a moment of prayer each day to meditate and delve into the Word of God and the content of the messages of Love found in the three volumes, CDs and DVDs. So much the better if it is possible to do it before His Holy Eucharistic Presence.
- Rediscover the greatness and beauty of the sacraments, especially that of reconciliation and the Eucharist.
- Occasionally, take a moment in a house of prayer to let yourself be penetrated by His Word and the messages of Love from the Foundation of the Chosen Ones of Jesus. Share with others His teachings and talk about His wonders.
We are committed to publishing on our website the details of the houses that offer these services.
The more time we take to develop our intimacy with God, the more we become beneficiaries of this rain of grace that regularly falls from Heaven. When we return His graces to Him through Praise and thanksgiving, we have our hearts to receive more, as in Message No. 174 of the first volume.
174. – A shower of graces and Love pours down continually from Heaven
Lord Jesus, I do not know how to thank You for having protected us and our material possessions so well during this ice storm. I know that this is through no merit on our part, but uniquely out of Love and Mercy. Perhaps, our turn has not yet come… I know that we, too, must be purified before becoming Love. Again, I give You my total, unconditional and irrevocable ‘yes’ to this purification. I surrender myself completely into Your hands. As for the means, may it please You that they be gentle and easy. Your Will be done and not mine; may I become what You want me to be: Love. May I become the docile instrument in Your hands and may I be used as You wish, when You wish and where You wish. I feel so small and helpless before Your Almighty Power. Be my Master, my Guide, my Protector. I accept to disappear so that You may take the whole space. I love You.
“My little one, my dear little one, my beloved child, I love to wrap My Cloak and that of My Blessed Mother around you so that the Enemy may have no hold on you. You have nothing, nothing to fear, your purification is good and well begun, in meekness and in Love. Your great docility allows My Father, ‘your Father,’ to act in this way. Even in difficult moments, as is the case at this time for others of My chosen ones, what you will receive within yourself in terms of peace, joy and Love, becomes much stronger and much more powerful than the hardships that you might be confronted to from the outside. Only one thing is important. It is that there is only one true and unique protection for human beings: Peace, Joy and especially Love that I pour into hearts. This is like a shower of graces and Love falling continually from Heaven, and as soon as a heart opens up to accept it, it receives everything it needs at the present moment and also for the future. Continually watered by this shower of graces and burned at the Fire of the Fire Love, there is nothing lacking to go through the great tribulations associated with the great jubilation. Know that you are all profoundly loved. You, yourself, are profoundly loved. Yes, Yes, I love you all. I love you.” JESUS
In this time of Christmas 2013, the Prince of Peace, Christ, comes into our midst. He asks no better than to deliver in abundance His graces and benefits. Jesus seeks welcoming hearts so that His graces bear fruit in abundance. Violence everywhere exists, divisions are intensifying, but our God remains the God of Peace and Unity. It is up to us to meet Him and let ourselves be shaped by Him.

APPENDICE
Testimony of Guy de R. – Mauritius
“In September 2012, I discover your volumes For the Happiness of My Own, My Chosen Ones. Jesus. Since then, your three volumes accompany me daily: I am re-reading these volumes. These teachings have touched me and continue to touch me in such a way that I cannot live without them. My life has changed, that of my family too.
I discovered on your website www.fcdj.org, your retreats and in particular, the videos of the one given at the Horeb St-Jacques. I ordered the DVDs. And, inspired by the Holy Spirit, I went to see the priest of my parish who wanted to organize lessons during Lent of 2013. I told him about your DVDs, and some time later, he accepted that a retreat be organized from your DVDs. He made the necessary announcements at the end of the Sunday and Weekly Masses; 17 people came, they appreciated and talked about them, so much so that I was asked to organize a new retreat. I want to point out that apart from what Father Philippe asked me, it was Jesus who organized everything. I was only the instrument for the projection of DVDs. The retreatants had chosen to retire in silence. The Blessed Sacrament had been exposed.
At the request of the retreatants and Father Philippe, I prepared a three-day program (see end of text), from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, with 45 minutes of reflection time and a moment of sharing at the end of the day. The number of participants in the second retreat was 25. For the third retreat, the 25 places were reserved within 72 hours. “
Since that time, Mr. de Rosnay has given several retreats that have touched several people. We are witnessing a beautiful fire of love springing up in Mauritius. Father Philippe asked that a meeting of all the retreatants be organized at the end of the year to share the wonders of God.
Hundreds of people from this country subscribed to the Thought of the Day. We can also count on more than 2700 likes on behalf of Mauritians on our Facebook account. Thank you, Mr. de Rosnay for answering YES to the call of the Lord Jesus and thank you for your generous heart! And thank you Jesus!
