I found joy and peace in my heart and body. Jesus came to visit me and heal me through the intercession of our beloved Mother. He freed me from the pains caused by words and events from the past. He removed that evil and neutralized the suffering. Only the memory remains, but the wound is gone. Thank you Lord!
I remembered your teachings: knowing how to accept the moments of jubilation, but also the moments of tribulation, aware that God never abandons me, that He loves me and wants me to grow and purify myself of what is coming not of Him.
I recently went on a retreat and witnessed the extent of praise’s power, and even more so in difficult times: I realized that the more I asked God to help me, the more difficulties and fears seemed to grow. I didn’t find peace or joy. A change could only take place when I would accept my situation and praise the Lord, instead of begging Him to take it away from me or transform it. And no one can do it through will alone […] Only divine force can act in our human lives.
Sincere prayer liberates and implements the power of God in our lives, but the prayer of praise is far more effective than any form of petition (see Ps 22: 4). God is there and His power is acting when we praise Him. He lies in our praise.
So I changed my way of praying and thanked the Lord for the situation I was in, to let Him work. I know that His love, His tenderness, His mercy are so infinite that He doesn’t stop transforming us and purifying us to rise to Him and lead us to our brothers. I remain in trust and hope. “Father, not My will but Thine be done.”
