WE ARE AT THE DAWN OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL STORY IN THE WORLD
In order not to violate the rules of edition, the title of this chronicle was not put between quotation marks. However it is truly a quotation…from Jesus. In a way the sentence summarizes the whole book: He is coming, He is here, He is knocking at our door and only waits for our “yes” to come in. Beware! If we open to Him, a Love tornado will enter with Him…
Knock, knock, anybody home?
I have here a letter from a catholic reader of the L’INFORMATEUR “devoted” to this chronicle. In her letter Mrs. R. from Saskatchewan “complains” that our Lord remains “silent” towards Canadian people. She notices that the Lord is loquacious in the USA, in England, in France, and elsewhere in the world, but here in Canada, He does not utter a word!
Well, dear Mrs. R. (and all of you who have expressed the same complaint in your hearts), here is one of our Lord’s answers.
Yes, I indeed say ONE of our Lord’s answers, for the Lord is speaking to Canadians (that includes people from Quebec). I have been receiving communiqués from several people who are aware of “confidences” of the Lord entrusted to some privileged people in this great big country, and I can assure you that He likes confiding and what He says is AWESOME!
However all of these “communications” cannot be published because they are “private”, which means that they concern only the entrusted and their close relations.
Yet some of them are “for everyone” but they are not being published by fear of being mistaken and misleading. These hesitations are commendable but they deny us access to most valuable words of encouragement and hope in these difficult times we encounter.
A BOOK FOR ALL
I take off my hat to the publisher of the above-mentioned book who was bold enough to publish it. I also give thanks to the Lord for sending the right people to the author, like the Reverend Fr. David, his spiritual director who wrote the foreword, and the Reverend Abbott Guy Giroux who wrote the preface.
But first and foremost I thank the “author” who was “little” enough to let the Lord pass through him. I know he would rather have not had his name appear at all on the book (and even asked Him for it) but he did what the Lord required from him. “As much as I want the person to accept to disappear to give Me all the space, l also want them to be clearly identified, with all the advantages and inconveniences that this can create, as much for the message as for the person. It is absolutely certain that you will suffer from this. Accepting to become another Christ is also accepting to suffer. You are always free to withdraw or to hide, but I am expressing my Will clearly to you”.
For those who do not know the author, it should be enough to know that for many years he has been a man of prayer (in a group or by himself); that he is not having this book published for money reason (he is well off) but because the Lord asked him to. And that this book is for all: the Canadian people and all others, His chosen ones.
WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?
In this book what does the Lord tells us? First of all, let me say that the people who are “used” to J.N.S.R., Françoise, Jean-Marc, Lucie etc., will feel at ease with this book. They will recognize the clear and straight voice of the Good Shepherd! They will recognize the language of the Father’s Love who longs for His Love to be disseminated throughout the world and transform all of His children.
Then, as in the recent discourses, He is warning us that He is to come soon, very soon: “More than ever before I am seeking little hearts to build this society of Love, able to receive Me when I shall come back, and that is very soon.” (I am highlighting this.)
“Very soon, there will be only pure hearts on earth. They will be so from their repeated “yes”, with the help of the “yes” of others, or by the great tribulations that will come to purify the world.”
Yes, OK, He is coming. We know it. We feel it. Just by looking at the “signs of the times” (wars, violence, desecration, unbridled sexuality etc.), we can see that normality has decamped and made way to a kind of spiritual anarchy that has repercussions in all spheres of our society and of the world.
What else?
So what? We already are aware of the latter. We did not need another book to tell us about it. So what is the purpose of this one?
What is so special about this book? It is its message, its tone, it’s Him! It is Him! It is the Lord! It is Him who seeks to get us ready to welcome Him. And for us to receive Him, for Love to be disseminating throughout the world, evil must disappear: “As there is only one way of dispelling darkness: by shedding light on it, so there is only one way of chasing evil away, by putting Love there.”
However just as human love cannot be imposed, neither can Divine Love! God cannot force us to love Him. He would betray the gift of freedom that He bestowed on us. He wishes us to freely come to Him, with all that we are. Basically, He seeks our “yes”.
The fundamental message of Jesus in this book is that He is coming back soon and He wants hearts that have been purified by Love to welcome Him and make Him known:
“The Father’s decision is firm: Love must be disseminated on earth as it is in heaven.
For Love to be freely disseminated, it cannot cohabit with evil. Thus evil must disappear.
Since evil has found refuge in the hearts of men and of women, hearts have to be purified.
The Father always respects the great freedom He bestowed on to His children on earth. A heart cannot be violated, it can only be seduced.”
LOVE SEEKS TO win us over
That’s it! In this book Jesus seeks to seduce us so that we give Him our “yes”. He suffers because very few people accept to let themselves be loved by Him. This is why He needs our “yes” to transform us, to purify us, to love us:
“The first “yes” that you have to give is to accept that God loves you.
The second “yes” is to love yourself like God created you.
Thereafter, it will be “yes” to cut the bonds conceived by the Enemy and to further enter in the heart of God. The path of Love is simple for the one who totally walks on it.
The great difficulty is to entirely and totally step on it, because it requires to give up that of the world. “
But we are such “adults” that we find it difficult to surrender to another. We prefer to decide by ourselves what we have to do and which direction we ought to take. We are like “little bosses” and we do not accept to be told how to conduct our life.
Yet, with Him in our life, it would be so simple. We only need to acknowledge that He is our Almighty Father and that we are His little powerless children… and be like a baby. “By himself he cannot do anything, not even eat or drink, he has to rely on his mother for everything.
At the same time as he receives food for his body, he receives nourishment for his heart, soul and spirit: love.
His helplessness is what allows him to receive the love that is absolutely necessary for him to develop his whole being. It is the same for you and for all the people who will read these lines. It is because of your helplessness before
an almighty God that you must expect everything from Him. By acknowledging your helplessness, by agreeing to expect everything from Him, you receive the most beautiful, the greatest, the most important gift, which has no limits: Love.”
A high risk book
Here I have to do a confidence. Ever since I read this book a few weeks ago, I took the risk and said my “yeses” to Jesus, just like He asks and I got caught… by Love. Yes! It works!!!
I said my “yes” to everything, the joys, the suffering, my work, my ministry, and even to the smallest details at work and in my daily life.
From that very moment I decided, according to what He had asked, to “expect everything from Him. To ask Him for and welcome everything. To accept everything, good or bad, joy, peace, love, hardship or suffering, everything as coming from Him. To entrust everything to Him so that our heart may be free to be transformed and become Love.”
If you intend to read that book, I would like to warn you that you too highly risk to get caught by Love. You are at risk of letting yourself be transformed by Love and spending the rest of your life saying, “yes” to Him. Should this be the case, remember I warned you.
